As one of the most interesting mangrove rivers in Singapore, Sungei Jelutong is a gem in the heart of rustic Pulau Ubin. Come, join us for a leisurely 1-hour guided self-paddle where volunteer guides from the Nature Society Singapore (NSS) will share interesting facts on the flora and fauna along the river, the importance of our coastal forests, the works going on in RUM (Restore Ubin Mangroves) Initiative and why the needs to conserve our mangroves. This trip is suitable for both adults and children (6 years old & above).

Participants must be at least 6 years old and above. Participants below 12 (i.e. 6 – 12 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or an adult guardian in the same kayak.
As this is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT event, we seek your kind understanding that there will be NO refunds on the tickets once sold.

$25 per person (to cover cost of equipment rental e.g. kayaks and other logistics handling).
This event is run by volunteers (researchers/marine biologists/ science educators) who will be the nature guides and safety personnel. Any proceeds received, will be donated to the Nature Society Singapore (Marine Conservation Group) for conservation efforts.
